Epcot

Epcot, this a fun park to walk around and take in the sites, some think Epcot isn’t a park that the kids will enjoy. This is not true, there is plenty to enjoy in Epcot, starting out with Future World and Spaceship Earth, this ride takes you through the story of communication from the past all the way into the future. If you want something a little faster, head on over to Test Track and test out the car you get to design yourself, and see how well you can do with car design. Feeling like piloting into space, try Mission Mars, there are 2 lines for this ride, a normal rider line, and a timid ride line, this has less jostling around compared to the normal ride. Epcot is a fun park to walk around and actually learn something interesting.

This park is broken up into two parts, Future World and World Showcase, Future World is where you get to learn and explore some of the vision that Walt Disney had in mind for this park, and what could have been a possible future from Walt’s eyes.

World Showcase is a place to explore and see the different countries from around the world. You can get a World Showcase Passport and get it stamped at all the country’s you visit. There is plenty to try and taste around the World Showcase, this is a great place to just walk around and wonder at the replicas of places from around the world are represented in Epcot. You have Mexico, Canada, Japan, China, Morocco, France, United Kingdom, The American Adventure, Italy, Norway, and Germany all fun places to explore and see what the countries are like.

There are some rides throughout the World Showcase, but there is also some great food and drinks as well. For rides, you have Frozen Ever after in Norway this use to be a Viking Flume ride but has been updated since with the popularity of Frozen. It’s not a bad ride but does tend to have a long wait for a short trip. There are also 360 movies, in Canada that you can sit and relax and watch. One thing I will say is don’t take Epcot for granted, it’s a fun park and lots to do and see there. With all the different countries they have represented you will want to try out some of the local foods, if you have a foodie in your travel party then they will love this aspect of Epcot.

They hold lots of Festive style events at Epcot for example, The Food & Wine Festival, The International Flower & Garden Festival, The International Festival of the Arts. Obviously want to keep in mind that during these times of the year, Epcot will be more crowded, so plan accordingly.

There are also plenty of private tours you can go on, behind the scenes, it really comes down to your budget and what you want to do. Epcot is changing their nighttime show Illuminations, it’s had a great 20-year run.

In the works at Epcot, is a Guardians of the Galaxy rollercoaster in the works, this is being described as a one of a kind storytelling coaster. It will be the world's longest indoor coaster and is scheduled to open in time for Walt Disney World's 50th anniversary in 2021.

Also in the works is a new "city" under a new un-named pavilion in the previously Wonders of Life, they are also creating a new Entrance into Epcot and working on a renovation for the Spaceship Earth ride. A new Remy's Ratatouille adventure is coming to the France pavilion, along with an updated O Canada! 360-degree show, and a Circle-Vision 360 video for the China pavilion.
