On Property vs Off property

Staying on property vs off property

Please keep in mind this is an opinion and not a fact, not everyone agrees with these thoughts

So when staying on property, you get extra little perks like being able to make dining reservations 180 days ahead of your check-in date. So here is a pro vs con list

On Property:
  • 180-day early dining reservations
  • 60 day early FastPass reservations
  • In-Room celebrations*
  • Extra Magic hours, they have now done away with this perk and changed it to early access into the parks at all times and all parks.
  • Magical Express from Airport
  • Buses, Minnie-Van, Skyline, Boat rides, and Monorail for transportation to the parks
Off-Property:
  • Only 60-day early dining reservation
  • Only 30 day early FastPass reservations
  • Pay for parking at the parks

Now granted these perks are great, but if you plan on also going to other places like Universal, or Sea World, then maybe the perks aren't worth it to you if you don't really care about the character dining and those kinds of things. There is nothing wrong with that at all.

As you can see when it comes to the on-property vs off property, it really does come down to your preference and what everyone in your family wants to do. This has always been a great debate between Disney fans.
