Animal Kingdom

Animal Kingdom is in a tie with Magic Kingdom as my wife's favorite park in WDW. If you love animals, you cannot miss spending a day at Animal Kingdom.
Tree of Life

Get to the park as soon as it opens and the first thing to do is go to the Kilimanjaro Safaris. If you go first thing, you are more likely to see more animals because it is cooler out and they are less likely trying to seek shade from the heat of the sun. You can also go right after it stops raining. If you go towards the end of the day near park closing, the driver will pause longer for photo opportunities of the animals

Definitely see the Festival of the Lion King. Excellent show!

Since the Animal Kingdom closes earlier than the other parks, you can go to another park afterward if you have a park hopper and feel like trying to catch one of the Firework night time shows.

Pandora or Avatar Land is now open and it is incredible, the detail that they have put into this land is incredible.

You need to check out Pandora in both the day and night, they have this place so well done, that it comes to life at night. Be warned the Flight of Passage will be a ride you want to Fastpass, it would be a 2-hour wait otherwise. The River ride is a nice relaxing journey to take and recommended especially since there are only 2 rides in Pandora.

There is now a nighttime show they have created for Animal Kingdom, River Of Lights. This show is similar to how Fantasmic uses sprayed water to cast images on. It's done to music and done very well. If you would like to see the show and whether you feel it would be worth it, head over to the video page and check it out. If you do want to check out the show, we recommend getting the Dining package and go to Tusker House. Not only is the buffet outstanding, but you get characters that come around for pictures as well, you'll see Donald, Daisy, Goofy, & Mickey, all decked out in their Safari gear.
We also suggest getting your picture taken in front of the Tree of Life on the way out after the show, it's all lit up and looks beautiful.
